Once again, FEMA Corporation is sponsoring a “Most Miles” competition in June for its employees. The organizers have created four different groups. The first team to reach 3500 weighted miles or closest to it will be named the winner! The contest begins June 1st and ends June 30th.

For a second year, FEMA Corporation engineer Jason Brandenburg and his daughter Tessa presented on electromagnets to Mr. Heerlyn’s 3rd grade class at Moorsbridge Elementary in Portage, Michigan.

Portage, MI – FEMA Corporation has been selected as a recipient of the John Deere Innovation award for 2017. The Innovation awards are part of Deere & Company’s Achieving Excellence program. The Portage, Michigan-based company received the honor for demonstrating innovation in a product or service.

FEMA Corporation has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2017 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. The Kalamazoo area company was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication.

For the fourth year in a row, FEMA Corporation has been certified by Caterpillar as a platinum level supplier through the company’s Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP). Caterpillar created the SQEP to recognize those suppliers that demonstrate their commitment to excellence and drive.

Every year FEMA Corporation continues to live out its mission statement by providing employees with various opportunities to get active, get outside, and spend time with co-workers beyond the company’s walls. This year, FEMA will be sponsoring employees in nine different racing events.

FEMA Corporation has broken ground on a 47,567 square-foot building addition. It will be attached to the northwest area of our existing plant at 1716 Vanderbilt Avenue in Portage, MI. This is the latest of several expansions as a result of new business and employment growth.

FEMA’s high-frequency pilot operated hydraulic solenoid valves are frictionless hydraulic pressure modulation valves that operate with direct-current or a simple > 1000hz high frequency electrical input. Our two-stage cartridge valves feature Electro-Hydraulic pilot proportional pressure control.
