Production Supervisor – Third Shift
FEMA Corporation is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor in the Assembly & Test department. This position is a growth opportunity for a motivated person. The Supervisor will be responsible for all production-related activities for multiple production lines. Production Supervisors should be able to work well with people, should be well organized, and should display a positive attitude towards challenges. Leadership experience in a team environment is a plus.
Work hours will be 8:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with Fridays as necessary. This position will report to the Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all company policies, including safety, environmental and ergonomic are followed
- Implement policies and procedures with consistent positive messaging
- Monitor and Evaluate performance of lines and provide direction / corrections for
- Serve as a transparent conduit of information between management and the teams
- Analyze, adjust, and communicate Assembly and Test scheduling decisions based on available information regarding lines, components, and products
- Drive training completion responsibility to team members
- Ensure optimal staffing assignment to support company goals
- Ensure development of Team Captains and Trainers to support ongoing growth
- Manage time sheets of direct reports
- Conduct interviews
- Oversee labor planning meetings
- Facilitate special projects as and when necessary
- Write and deliver personnel performance reviews in alignment with company goals
- Conduct Quality containments as required
- Organize Defective Material Disposition Reports (DMDR) sorts, rework or scrap per instructions
- Conduct A&T Meetings on the defined frequency.
