The FEMA Engineering Student Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to various facets of engineering. Students will rotate through Production, Quality, the Engineering Lab, and various engineering departments. This rotational experience provides students with a well-rounded understanding of engineering processes and practices. Students will work on diverse engineering projects and collaborate closely with skilled engineering staff, gaining practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve problems and develop solutions.
- Gain hands-on experience in a range of engineering processes and techniques.
- Engage in continuous learning and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
- Successfully collaborate with Assembly and Test team to manufacture high quality parts while gaining initial exposure to FEMA engineering concepts, products, and manufacturing lines
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Work 20 hours per week during the normal school year and a minimum of 32-40 hours per week during the summer months, depending on class load.
- Strong interest in gaining practical engineering experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
