Student Greg Bosma Competes in Stryker’s Engineering Challenge

WMU Engineering Team at Stryker 5th Annual Engineering Challenge

During the last weekend of March, one of our students, Greg Bosma, participated in a two-day engineering competition with his team from Western Michigan University. Hosted for the fifth year by Stryker, the challenge required the teams to create an "autonomous rescue vehicle" by utilizing a robotics kit and a set of other components.

They were required to design a vehicle that could rapidly pick up a "patient" from a hard-to-reach location and return the patient to the team as quickly as possible. The team from Western included Katie Eluskie, James Novorita, and Cory Fritz in addition to Bosma.
