Mechanical Actuator
FEMA Corporation introduced the “Mechanical Solenoid” lock out actuator for many applications such as that of locking out a gear lever. For example, reverse gear could not be selected if the vehicle were moving forward. These lock out actuators are designed to handle very high radial side loads to the pin, and are applied in similar fashion to a dead bolt lock on a door.
